There are two methods used to install our loops into Addictive Drums 2. Please note that this is a manual installation. Running our installer will NOT work.

Method 1 - If you upgraded from Addictive Drums 1 you can use this method:

1. Copy our Addictive Drums folder(s) from the AD1 user midi folder to the AD2 'external midi' folder.

Open AD1, click the small [?] sign in the top right corner and select 'Open the AD User Folder'. From there, open the User MIDI Files folder. You will find all your AD1 User MIDI files here.

NOTE: The /Library folder is hidden in OS X 10.7 or later. Open Finder, click 'Go' in the top menu bar and hold the 'option' (alt) key to make it appear in the drop down menu.

2. Then choose “Refresh MIDI Library” in the AD2 Help Button [?] menu.

Method 2 - For users starting with Addictive Drums 2 (no upgrade):

Note: The Addictive Drums loops are stored in the 'other midi mappings' folder.

1. Copy our Addictive Drums folder(s) to the AD2 'external midi' folder.
